Back from vacay

Cancun was awesome! It was so so fun to get away alone with Kirk and relax for a week. We were not ready to come home, but we are ready to see our little nugget. The other day I came home from running errands and saw this.   

He loves to move his curtains and look outside when he decides he's not ready to go to sleep yet. I laughed so hard and grabbed my camera. I love these pictures because they look like they are really old. I like to think he is thinking of me in these photos. This week I kept picturing him this way, looking for us to come back! I can't wait to get him back from his Tuts. So sweet.

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is an especially exciting hump day because Kirk and I are off to the Rivera Maya for vacation! We have not been on a trip together alone since our honeymoon six years ago, so we are really thrilled for some time away. Sorry for the sparse posts the past few days...I've been trying to get us out of here! See you later!!

Happy Monday! I hope that you all have a nice sweltering weekend! Shep's birthday was a blast. It was great fun to see friends and celebrate our little man. I will post pictures and details when I get all the pictures collected.

One year of Shep

Why, you ask?? Because on this day last year God gave us the most amazing little boy. He was tiny. But, he has grown in just one year to be such a sweet little chunk. I am so proud of you, Shep! I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for your life. You are precious to me.
