Trick or treat, smell my feet

Happy Halloween guys! What a beautiful day for trick or treating. I can't wait for Shepherd and Kirk to be in full costume...so cute. Kirk agreed to be Harry Potter. Woo Hoo! I knew he would do it.
What are your plans for tonight? Here are a few ideas for a cute bag for your little one to carry as they collect their loot tonight. Enjoy!

Have a super fun Halloween!

Photos of Shepherd

Happy Thursday everyone! Here are a few pictures that our good friend Aaron Cave took of us a few weeks ago. Enjoy!

We have a little Halloween costume play group today. I am so excited to see Shep in his costume and all his little friends too. I hope that it fits and I hope that you have a great day today. I'll post some pictures later.

Hired design

Happy Friday all! I am so excited to share the photos of the house that I helped decorate for my good friend Stephanie. She and her husband Steve recently decided to sell their precious home in University Park. I was so excited to take on this job because Steve and Steph have fabulous taste. It was my pleasure to help them complete their style. Here are a few photos of their beautiful home. Enjoy!

If you are interested in this amazing home, please visit the listing site here.  And feel free to contact me if you or someone you know needs a little help styling their space!

Lots to do with a map

I can't believe it is already Thursday. The weeks just seem to fly by. We had co-op today and I ran all over the place with my four hours. I found a great china cabinet for our dining area for an awesome price...so excited about it. The people at Salvation Army should know my name by now. To my dismay, they don't. Haven't you always wanted to have some cute little relationship with someone where you are a regular like almost every character has in the movies? You walk in to get coffee...the person behind the counter says, "Hey Linds! Grande skinny white chocolate mocha again today?" Yeah, right.
Anyhoo, today's post is all about maps. I love maps. It seems that they are up in popularity these days. I feel like I'm seeing them everywhere. Would you decorate with a map? Here are a few photos and ideas that caught my eye. Enjoy!

Something that I am seeing a lot now are wedding maps. They come in the welcome basket for destination weddings or for the out of town guests. I love this! Why didn't I think of that for my wedding? This would be such a fun job.

Until next time...

Craftastic

Hey guys! I am in craft mode over here. Fall weather brings with it Halloween and Thanksgiving, and I love these two holidays. I have been working on all of our costumes the past few days. A little project for Shep turned into a whole new idea when Kirk told me he wanted to dress up too. My little man is going to be an owl, so I thought Kirk could be Harry Potter...Shepherd then being little Hedwig. But, Kirk doesn't want to be Harry Potter because he is still bitter that I was engrossed in the six book on our honeymoon. So, I might just be Harry and my boys can be owls. That leaves Lily without a role, but oh well. I'll post pictures later of our trick or treating experience. In the man time, today's post is about another craft that I plan to do tomorrow...decorate pumpkins. In my humble opinion, carving is out and painting is in! Here are a few pictures that have given me inspiration. Enjoy!

Sixteen month catching up

Happy Monday everyone. Since I took my month hiatus from blogging, I have to catch up on some pictures. Here are a few of Shepherd and his little buddies. Aren't they all so cute?

Beach Trip to NC

Just hanging out with Emmit

A week worth of Sharing Tuts and cousin time with Henry

And here is Shep's monthly chair picture. Right now he is really into the dustpan, climbing stairs and holding Lily's leash when we are outside. He throws things constantly and is just such a boy. I am teaching him the words ball, doggie, cat, shoe, banana and duck.

Until tomorrow...
